Janet Parkhurst Co-owner Janet's byline on her name tag says "it's all about the glass" and it has been all about the glass since 1978 when Janet and Richard's first glass shop was opened in Winslow, Maine. Janet left her day job teaching and school administration to work in the glass business full time in 1982. Stained Glass Express was opened in 1988. The online store was opened in 2005. Janet and Richard have three grown children - Glenn, Tobias and Soo. |

Richard Parkhurst Co-owner Richard is an owner of Stained Glass Express. He is a true entrepreneur and a visionary. Richard has been in the glass industry since 1978 when he and his partner Allen Oakes opened Oakes & Parkhurst Glass. There is not much he doesn't know about glass at this point, and is often called upon for his knowledge and expertise. |

Wanda Shorty Teacher/Customer Service Representative Wanda has been matching customers to glass since 1989. We call her (and her name tag confirms it) "Merchandise Mava". She is a stained glass teacher so there is not a problem asking her for some help or advice. Wanda has three grown sons - Luke, Zac and Matt. |

Liz Bailey Store Operations Manager and Glass Academy Director Liz joined the team as Glass Academy Director at the end of May 2022. After working with kindergarteners for twelve years, she was ready to exercise a different part of her brain! Liz was promoted to Store Manager in 2024. It's important to her that you know that Die Hard is a Christmas movie. |

Stephanie Fyfe Marketing Coordinator A middle-school literature teacher by day, Stephanie and her husband Jared also make and sell glass guitar slides: Harpley Slides Stephanie loves spending time with her husband and two teenage daughters more than anything. She also enjoys reading, and spending time outdoors. |

Max Curry Shipper/Inventory Management Max joined our team at Stained Glass Express in May of 2024. He has already proven himself a Renaissance Man; today he is updating shipping apps, yesterday he took apart and fixed the paper shredder, tomorrow...we dunno, the moon? |
