Challenge

Show off some sheet glass in its raw form. No finished projects or works-in-progress--just glass. Let the glass speak for itself, or use it alongside props, or people, or pretty much anything! Show us your fusible (90 or 96 COE) or art glass-- we just want to look at all the beautiful glass!

The goal of this competition is very selfish on our part.  We would love to be able to photograph every piece of glass in the store, but of course it would take forever.  Your photos will be added to our webpage to help other glass artists see what the glass really looks like!

Rules

• A valid entry must be an actual photograph (no stock images), show only one type of glass (multiple pieces of the same glass is fine), and it must be identified as glass that we currently sell. Check our website!
• Submit as many valid entries as you like. Contest is open to residents of the US and Canada.
• High quality photos and entry forms must be submitted by midnight on Friday, June 12, 2026. Winners will be announced by Friday, June 19, 2026.
• Stained Glass Express will retain the right to use your submitted photos for promotional and advertising use in perpetuity. You are welcome to watermark a photo, but otherwise we do not guarantee attribution with use of photos. Please consider this when including people in your photos (will they want their image shared?) All valid entries will also be posted on our Facebook page.
• There will be three (3) prize winners.
  • One winner will be chosen by our staff members by popular vote,
  • Photos will be posted all at once on Facebook, and the one that gets the most comments within the announced timeframe will be a winner! 
  • One winner will be determined by random draw from all remaining valid entries.
• Each winner will receive a small goodie bag of glass and supplies.  It will contain at least one total square foot of Youghiogheny sheet glass.  If you are not local, we will send it with your next order!

How to Enter

Email your entry with attached high quality photo (jpeg or png) to Liz B at GlassAcademy@StainedGlassExpress.com with the subject line "Flaunt Your Glass Entry". Must include the following:

 

Entry Form Information

• Required- Name (as you want it published with your photo)
• Location (optional, will be published)
• Required- Email address (will NOT be published or shared)
• Required- Info about the glass in the photo-we need to be able to connect it directly to a product in our inventory (link, Manufacturer, COE, Name of Colorway, SKU, etc)
• Information you would like included with the photo (why you chose the location, why the glass is special, what made you choose certain props, what the image makes you think of, etc)

Stained Glass Express reserves the right to determine valid entries based upon Facebook's Community Standards and our own standards, and prize eligibility based on the requirements stated in the rules. We reserve the right to amend these rules and requirements at our discretion and to make up for anything we've forgotten or just didn't think of. By entering the contest you agree to abide by the rules and decisions made by Stained Glass Express.
