In celebration of National Art Glass Month every April

General Rules:

Any Level of Experience!
*Entrant must be able to deliver the contest piece for physical display in our store by March 22 and pick up the piece after the display period is over at the end of April. Entries can be dropped off any time beginning December 15 through the due date.
Categories:
"Leaded" Glass: Copper Foil or Lead
"Warm" Glass: Glass worked primarily in a kiln (includes fusing and casting)
"Cold" Glass: Glass worked without heat. (includes mosaics, etching, sandblasting, other forms of manual shaping of glass)
"Hot" Glass: Glass worked primarily with a flame (includes torchwork, furnace blowing)
Specific Rules:
- Panels or hangings must be ready to hang.
- Multi-dimensional art must be able to be displayed on a table or be ready for hanging.
- Lamps must be ready for hanging or on a base provided by you and include a bulb.
- Any entries that need to be hung MUST be under 40 lbs. Please talk to us about non-hanging entries that are over 40 lbs. so we are sure we can display them for judging.
- All entries must remain on display at Stained Glass Express until the end of April.
Invite Night:
"Judging" is done by all the entrants and other guests at Invite Night, which will be on Saturday April 11. It is an invitation-only event and a GREAT PARTY! We have fantastic sales on glass and supplies that we bring in just for this event.**
- We offer our deepest discounts of the year on Invite Night!
- Entrants get an invitation for themselves and one guest. Each will receive one ballot to vote that night. Other invited guests and Stained Glass Express employees will also receive one ballot.
- There is no criteria for judging; it is whatever the voter likes for whatever reason.
- We will have appetizers and refreshments for you to enjoy.
**If unable to attend the event, you will be able to shop the remaining sale items the following Monday.
