It helps if you bag your foil. It is copper. It will oxidize if air gets to it over time. You can keep your original bag and tape it up or if you have a dispenser, just put the entire dispenser in a big baggie.
This is one that I don't believe in. Using ChapStick to coat your lines so they won't grind or saw off. I have heard that using it will gum up your grinder or saw. However, if it is your grinder or saw, do what you will.

Clothes pins are handy little things.
Break it apart and use it for a burnisher. Use it to hold a small suncatcher while you are soldering.
Lots of "real" burnishers are available.
