Standard Colors

When standard color dichroic glass is fused or hot worked, the color of the glass will shift towards the next lighter color. For example, a piece of Cyan/Copper when fused will look more like Blue/Gold.

The first color listed is the product name is the transmitted color, and the second color is the reflected color. Typically, when fused the glass will take on the reflected color.

Rainbow 1 is coated with an arch of color, so each color will change in accordance with the below colors. For example, the Blue/Gold part will shift to Magenta/Green, while the Magenta/Green will shift to Pink/Teal.

If you are fusing with dichroic glass, Stained Glass Express recommends creating samples, so as to see what the final fused look will be.

Specialty Colors

These specialty dichroic colors were designed to minimally change when fused in the kiln or otherwise hot worked. These colors only list the reflected color of the glass, as the product was originally created mainly for black glass. They are still plenty vibrant on clear glass however.

Premium Colors

These premium color pieces of dichroic are designed to not shift very much when fused or hot worked. The only exception is the Green/Magenta will shift into a Hot Pink color.
