Things to consider:
1. What are you going to make. Size is important. Width and depth.
2. It is also important to know you have the space for size kiln you want. You may also need to be near the power source. Larger kilns require may require additional wiring
3. Most kilns built for fusing have elements in both the size and the top. If they are not too big, they may have an element just in the top.
4. Get a good controller. You want to be able to preprogram the kiln so there is less chance of error. You will probably want a tack, a contour and a full fuse preprogramed.
5. What are you getting for support. Is there someone who can answer your questions. Do you get a lesson with the kiln.
6. Price. What is your budget. What do you need to go with the kiln. Do you need more wiring, kiln shelfs etc.
