Returns and Damage

Our “We Want You Happy Policy”

Stained Glass Express wants you happy.  If you are not happy with your product, just return the item. 

  • There are some items that we cannot refund.  These are:  gift cards, cds, (if a cd is defective, we will replace it) special orders, clearance/overstocked or books. 
  • To return your item, carefully repack the item.  Please return within 30 days and make sure what you are returning is resalable.  If the item is not resalable at retail, we will refund 85% of your purchase price.  Please be sure you put info in the box so that we know who you are and how to reach you for refund.
  • If your item appears to be damaged from shipping, there are a few important things.  (not our rules—the shipper’s rules).  We must have a picture of the box, label and the damage.  DO NOT throw out the box.  Sometimes the shipper insists on seeing it.  Also keep the packing materials.  We work very hard to get the product to you safely and are really very good at it!  However, if it looks like ups or usps really roughed things up we need the evidence to prove that to them.  No need to return the damaged material until we hear from the shipper.  We will ship out what you need for replacement.  We always say that we have the nicest and fairest customers who always tell us what really can be used and what you really need for replacement. 
  • We do a double check on every order.  One person pulls and invoices the order and a different person checks that it is all there and packs it in a box.  In the event that both of these careful, wonderful people somehow made their way to left field and left something out of the box, please let us know and we will get it to you.
  • For warranty issues the manufacturer needs to be contacted.

  • Shipping costs are refunded if there was an error or a product defect.  Please enclosed a copy of the shipping receipt if you are requesting a refund because of error or defect.
