Skill Builder Class for Fusers-Paying with Powder Frit

You've been creating fused glass pieces for a while, and you want to add something to your repertoire of skills.  Today's the day! 

First, Amy will teach you the joy of No Days Powder Wafer.  Use punches, scissors, and cutting dies to create shapes you can't cut from sheet glass!

While your powder wafer creations are having a quick run through the kiln, Amy will show you tips and tricks for working with stencils, and freehand "painting" with powder. (photos are all Amy's work using powder frit!)

Once you get the hang of it, just go to town creating! Use what you've learned to create four 6x6" panels and we'll get them fired that night! (Once you've seen them fired, I will be happy to slump them for $2 each, half our regular price.)

Plan to bring or buy:

One No Days Powder Wafer sheet

Stencils, punches, scissors, and cutting dies that appeal to you! (Amy will have a few.)

N95 mask or respirator (always recommended when working with powder)

We're providing:

Four 6x6" Clear Ice 96 COE

Thinfire paper & kiln use for the projects in class

Use of our extensive collection of 96 COE powder frit

We'll also give you a voucher to attend a Tuesday-evening session of All-Glass Workshop, where you can get some more pointers and generally experience the energy of working in a group of like-minded artists! (a $15 value!)
