The Gallery Hanger is zinc plated steel, allowing the unit to be soldered, accept zinc patina, and be corrosion resistant. The holding strength of the hanger is determined by the installation and the amount of the solder contact with the frame. The holding strength of the Gallery Hanger should be tested in excess of the weight of the glass panel before hanging.
