96 COE glass rods are manufactured by Oceanside Glass. The glass is machine pulled from System 96 tested compatible glass. Machine-pulled rods result in straighter and more consistently round rods than those that are hand pulled. Glass rods are used by fused glass, flameworking and glass blowing artists and hobbyists for fused glass art, glass beads, blown glass objects and other kiln and torch work.

Glass rods come in opal and transparent colors. They measure approximately 17 - 20 inches and are typically 4-6mm in diameter.

Individual rod weights vary appx from 0.05 to 0.07 ounces.
