System 96 Casting Rocks are formulated from Uroboros' unique ultra-low devitrification glass formulas. These formulas were designed specifically for the long firing schedules needed for large-scale kiln casting, and provide excellent optical brilliance and unusually bright colour hues. Casting Rocks are formed from this high-quality glass into an economical, random sized "rock" forms between the size of grapes and baseballs. Casting Rocks are un-annealed.  If your casting does not need the low bubble count and uniform shape of Casting Billets, Casting Rocks are a low-cost alternative.
