90 COE Stringer and Noodles
90 COE glass stringers and noodles are used in many ways in glass fusing, torch work and glass blowing. Stringer and noodles are made with Bullseye Compatible fusible glass.
Stringer are pulls of glass that are straight and thin enough to be bent with the heat of a candle flame. They are made by pulling remelted Bullseye compatible fusible sheet glass. Stringer is great for detail work and outlines - it is thin and similar in size and shape to thin spaghetti pasta. Each is approximately 17" long and 1.2mm in diameter. Stringer is packed in tubes and contains approximately 100 stringers.
Noodles can be used to easily create straight lines of color in fused glass dishes, plates, bowls and platters. Just like stringer, noodles can be incorporated with sheet glass or the project can be made completely out of noodles. Fuse together to cut into murrini for fusing or glass blowing components. Glass noodles are similar in size and shape to linguini pasta. Each is approximately 17" long. They are flattened to approximately 1.35mm thick by 4.5mm (3/16") wide. A tube contains approximately 25 noodles.
